A partir de mayo del año pasado, mediante la invitación de Ecoclubes de Argentina y Scouts de Argentina, empezamos a participar de este nuevo proceso de refundación y reformulación de la Mesa de Concertación Juvenil de Argentina (Esta Mesa era una organización de organizaciones donde convergian Organizaciones nacionales de temática juvenil).
La primer reunión se llevó a cabo el día 26 de mayo de 2006 en la sede de FLACSO, contando con la presencia de las siguientes Organizaciones y Mesas de Concertación: Scouts de Argentina, Organización Nacional de Ecoclubes de Argentina, la Pastoral de Juventud, Federación Agraria, Mesa de Concertación Juvenil de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Mesa de Concertación Juvenil de Morón, Juventud Radical, Jóvenes en Construcción, Asociación Vientos del Sur y el Presidente del Foro Latinoamericano de Juventud. También se contó con la presencia de Sergio Balardini y Evaristo Carriego, como facilitadores.
Desde ese día, continuamos participando activamente, hasta que el 19 de agosto de 2006, en la ex Mansión Seré, hoy sede de la Dirección de Derechos Humanos, situada en la ciudad de Castelar, Partido de Morón, dimos conformidad y constitución al Grupo Promotor de la Plataforma Nacional de Juventud de Argentina; de este modo, nos propusimos como objetivo principal encontrar y darle el marco institucional adecuado a este nuevo espacio que se estaba conformando.Se realizaron diversas reuniones, y la Mesa de Concertación Juvenil de Morón, formó parte de la Comisión de Legal y Técnica, que estaba dedicada, principalmente a la conformación del Estatuto, que luego fue presentado en el III Encuentro Nacional de Redes Juveniles que se llevó a cabo en la ciudad de Rosario.
Finalmente, el 11 de mayo de 2007, en la sede de FLACSO, se realizó la primera asamblea y la constitución del nuevo espacio, llamado Plataforma Federal de Juventudes de Argentina, integrado por las siguientes Organizaciones nacionales, Redes Juveniles y Mesas de Concertación: Asociación Civil Jóvenes en Construcción, Asociación Vientos del Sur, Federación Agraria Argentina, Fundación SES, Mesa de Concertación Juvenil de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Mesa de Concertación Juvenil de Morón, Organización Nacional de Ecoclubes de Argentina, Pastoral de Juventud, Scouts de Argentina, Organización Argentina de Jóvenes para las Naciones Unidas, Leoísmo Argentino, Asamblea de Jóvenes de Gualeguaychú, Red de Jóvenes de Río Gallegos “PEP!”, Red Puna y Quebrada, Red de Jóvenes de Rosario “La Maraña”, Red de Jóvenes de Bariloche “Ñehueñtun”, Redes Juveniles de Mendoza; con el asesoramiento de Fundación Friedrich Ebert (FES) y el Programa de Investigaciones en Juventud de la Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO).Desde ese día, y de ahora en adelante desde la Mesa de Concertación Juvenil de Morón, ratificamos nuestra participación y apoyo a la Plataforma Federal.
Este nuevo espacio, denominado Plataforma Federal de Juventudes de Argentina, es un espacio de instituciones juveniles, donde hay Organizaciones nacionales, Redes Juveniles y Mesas de Concertación, donde estas entidades no son solo nacionales. Es un espacio juvenil, dedicado a fortalecer y mejorar las problemáticas juveniles a nivel federal, como la de constituir y fortalecer las organizaciones juveniles exsistentes.
